Commissioned and premiered by Trio Without, The Poet Sleeps was part of DREAMS-BEND, a concert experience which drew the listener into the world of the night and of dreams, contrasting the richness of Romantic chamber music with subtle and mysterious contemporary works. The concert included works by Nahre Sol, Robert Schumann, Thomas Adès’, Johannes Brahms, and György Kurtág.
